The modern organisation is in search of a #workplace that fosters collaboration, innovative thinking and a productive and motivated workforce. But knowing what you want doesn’t always give you a clear idea of how to achieve it.
Organisations often experience big changes and if there are large elements or dynamics which people don’t understand it can lead to dysfunction. So why can’t people just do their job? What’s so difficult about just being professional?
We need to create (or discover) the methods that deal with change and upset so that people around us become closer and supportive rather than defensive or aggressive. That process requires us to understand principles that affect our behaviour, feelings, and thoughts.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
